When a global leader in real estate was looking to build their corporate headquarters to establish their business in India, it called for a clean, modern and international look in tune with their offices and projects worldwide. The first in a string of offices in various Indian cities, this office occupies the top two floors of a tower in Bangalore.
The design brief for the 10,000 SF space called for a mix of private offices, open plan seating, café and conference rooms. The main design move was to open up a part of the lower level ceiling to create a double height entry space that was capped by the dome. This creates a dynamic space where the ceiling height soars to over 45-0. This volume is anchored by a wall of Serpeggiante marble that forms the backdrop for a floating steel and glass stair. The design prioritizes a minimal use of material and colour with an obsessive level of detail.
