When Amal Group, a well established and trusted real estate developer decided to move into Gladdiola, a commercial building designed by Connect Four, we saw it as a unique opportunity to continue our integrated design philosophy.
The office is located on the top floor of the building and the elevator lobby opens into a large sky-lit atrium. One of the key design moves was to have a large vertical garden here, which is the first thing one sees upon exiting the elevator.
The layout of the office is designed to have cabins for the partners along two window walls, and a large open office along the other window wall. The wall separating the two is treated as a collage of wood and steel with space for future artwork.
Materials used across the entire project, wood veneer and natural stone, enhance the philosophy of subtle elegance.
