A township in Nagpur whose 45-acre footprint makes it an exercise in urban design. With the requirement of dovetailing such disparate elements as housing, school, hospital, mall, sports club and a yoga retreat, the programme was complex, challenging.
Our solution, to ensure cohesiveness, was to weave open spaces and recreation spaces into and around these functions — to create soothing green vistas from any location. This creates a beautiful relationship between the built-form and nature, with the greens becoming an integral part of the views to the building and from it.
